The invention relates to a distance adjustable calibration device high-precision positioning device and method. The device comprises one or multiple distance sensors, a single-chip microcomputer and a liquid crystal module. The distance sensors are connected with the single-chip microcomputer which is integrated in the liquid crystal module. The bottom plate of the adjustable calibration device is provided with multiple holes. The distance sensors are arranged exactly below the holes. The distance sensors measure the distance between a detector/ a radioactive source arranged on the calibration device and the distance sensors and transmit the distance to the single-chip microcomputer. The single-chip microcomputer drives the liquid crystal module to display the distance. The distance sensors are used and development of the distance control program is performed so that the accuracy of the distance between the sensitive area surface and the radioactive source used for surface contamination instrument calibration can be guaranteed.
