The invention relates to a wool fiber cleaning method, mainly aiming at cleaning of wool fiber and cashmere fiber. According to the wool fiber cleaning method, a method for circularly cleaning wool fiber by using a solution formed by mixing high-proportion alcohol organic solvent with a few amount of water and scouring reagent is adopted, and lipophilic dirt on wool fibers can be rapidly wetted and dissolved, so that wool fiber can be cleaned more thoroughly, not only can the loss of wool strength during cleaning be greatly improved, but also the winding of wool fibers can be decreased, the wool fiber cannot be extruded and felted, and further the production rate of combed wool tops can be increased. The problem that the traditional wool fiber cleaning technology is not thorough to clean, the loss of wool strength is great and the usage amount of water is large can be solved. The adopted alcohol organic solvent is safe and non-toxic, and can be recycled, so that the usage amount of water can be greatly decreased, thus being economic and energy-saving as well as safe and environment-friendly.
