According to the array antenna direction of arrival evaluation method and apparatus in the strong interference condition, after receiving a source matrix with orientation-preserving orthogonality, a first signal subspace is constructed according to the source matrix with the orientation-preserving orthogonality so that an interference characteristic vector included in the source matrix is eliminated; and then the direction of arrival is calculated according to the first signal subspace obtained after elimination of the interference and a pre-established multi-signal classification model so that the direction of arrival of an antenna can be calculated without knowing the angle of an interference source in advance, the adaptability is better, and the method can be applicable to wider application scenes.
