The invention relates to an automotive interior part based on a prepreg-carbon-fiber composite material and a preparation method of the automotive interior part. The automotive interior part is prepared from a carbon fiber composite part and a plastic part through hot-press molding. The automotive interior part is characterized in that the carbon fiber composite part is composed of the prepreg-carbon-fiber composite material, and the prepreg-carbon-fiber composite material is formed by superimposing several layers of prepregs, softening the prepregs though heating for once or twice and then conducting compression molding; the prepregs can be subjected to thermoplastic molding and is formed by using a fiber reinforced material layer to infiltrate thermoplastic molding resin; the thermoplastic molding resin has the performance characteristic that the resin can be subjected to thermoplastic molding for many times after being heated, so that the prepregs can be repeatedly heated and deforms. The technological process is simplified, the production efficiency is improved, the production energy consumption is reduced, the precision and stability of products are ensured, and the quality of the products is improved.
