The invention relates to a method and device for processing waveform distortion of a photoelectric current sensor. First, an original sinusoidal signal frequency is calculated according to the zero crossing point in a known distortion waveform, and an original signal waveform equation is listed; then, 2 sampling points are extracted arbitrarily from an unsaturated region of the distortion waveform, signal waveform equations are listed, and the amplitude and initial phase angle of the original signal waveform are calculated; and finally, according to the AD sampling frequency, the original signal waveform is drawn. The method and device of the invention solve the problem that the waveform distortion amplitude calculation mistakes caused by the AD saturation during the transmission of the sinusoidal analog signal.
