The method for predicting the alternating time of the intelligent meter comprises the following steps of acquiring the voltage qualified rate of the intelligent meter, and acquiring the temperature value, the humidity value and the altitude value of the intelligent meter in the current working environment; acquiring the comprehensive fault rate of the intelligent meter; conducting the naturalization calculation of a preset voltage qualified rate reference, a preset comprehensive fault rate reference, a preset temperature difference reference, a preset humidity reference and a preset altitude reference for the intelligent meter based on the voltage qualified rate, the comprehensive fault rate, the temperature value, the humidity value and the altitude value; determining the per-unit values of the voltage qualified rate, the comprehensive fault rate, the temperature, the humidity and the altitude; acquiring the weight parameters of the voltage qualified rate, the comprehensive fault rate, the temperature, the humidity and the altitude; and determining the alternating time of the intelligent meter according to the per-unit values of the voltage qualified rate, the comprehensive fault rate, the temperature, the humidity and the altitude.
