The invention discloses a blurring shooting method which comprises the steps of: acquiring a preview image and a focus region of the preview image, and determining a region in the preview image besides the focus region as a to-be-blurred region; partitioning the to-be-blurred region into at least two sub-regions according to a preset brightness analysis model, wherein the brightness analysis model comprises a sub-region partitioning model for carrying out brightness analysis on the to-be-blurred region; acquiring a brightness average value of the sub-regions; and when the brightness average value is higher than a preset blurring threshold, carrying out blurring processing on the sub-regions and acquiring a blurred image of the preview image. By implementing the scheme, selective blurring processing is carried out instead of carrying out blurring processing on all the to-be-blurred region; a calculation quantity of a mobile terminal is small; meanwhile, consumption of a battery is also reduced; and cruising power of the battery is improved.
