The invention relates to a carrier communication module for a concentrator. The carrier communication module is characterized in that a master control circuit is connected with a carrier transceiving circuit and used for modulating to-be-sent data to form carrier signals; the carrier transceiving circuit is connected with a switching circuit and used for processing the carrier signals transmitted by the master control circuit; the switching circuit is connected with an interface circuit and used for transmitting the processed carrier signals to the interface circuit; the interface circuit is used for coupling the carrier signals transmitted by the switching circuit to a zero line to transmit. The carrier communication module for the concentrator has advantages that the wideband carrier signals can skip power switchgear high in carrier attenuation to be directly injected into the zero line of electricity consumption equipment, so that the performance of carrier communication between the concentrator and electricity consumption information acquisition equipment on a user side can be improved effectively.
