The passive type anti-icing power transmission line comprises an elastic band and a semicircular tube, wherein the semicircular tube covers the upper part of a power transmission line; two bottom sides of the semicircular tube tilt downwards and outwards and are connected with a left protection plate and a right protection plate respectively; the inner surfaces of the left protection plate and the right protection plate are respectively provided with a left hanging ring and a right hanging ring; two ends of the elastic band are provided with a left hanging hook and a right hanging hook respectively; the left hanging hook and the right hanging hook are hung on the left hanging ring and the right hanging ring respectively; the semicircular tube is provided with a plurality of upper anti-icing clamping grooves which protrude out along the radial direction of the semicircular tube; each of the left protection plate and the right protection plate is provided with a plurality of low anti-icing clamping grooves which protrude out; and deicing agent blocks are arranged in the upper anti-icing clamping grooves and the low anti-icing clamping grooves. With the passive type anti-icing power transmission line of the invention adopted, ice and snow cannot be attached and accumulated on the anti-icing cover, an active anti-icing effect can be realized; human and material resources are not required to be dispatched to perform de-icing operation in cold outdoor environments in snowy and icy weather, and therefore, manpower and resources can be saved, harm brought about by thick ice coatings can be eliminated. After being installed, the passive type anti-icing power transmission line can exert effects by itself, power is not required in an anti-icing process, and no energy is consumed.
