The invention relates to the technical field of coproduction processes and particularly relates to a method for coproducing methyl methacrylate and methallyl alcohol. According to the method, tert-butyl alcohol/isobutene are adopted as raw materials and are oxidized to produce methacrylic acid, and the methacrylic acid is subjected to oxidizing and esterifying to produce the methyl methacrylate; and methylacrolein serves as a raw material and is subjected to selective reduction hydrogenation to obtain the methallyl alcohol, and thus, a methyl methacrylate and methallyl alcohol coproduction process is achieved. The method is simple in process, reasonable in product planning, low in production cost and high in atom utilization ratio and is clean, green and environmentally friendly, and the development of advanced coproduction processes of the methyl methacrylate and the methallyl alcohol is achieved.
