A piping system (1000) of a steam turbine plant (1) is provided with: steam piping (30) connected to a steam turbine; bypass piping (40) which branches from the steam piping at a branching portion and which is connected to a condenser; a steam check valve (60) provided between the branching portion of the steam piping and the steam turbine; and a turbine bypass valve (80) provided in the bypass piping. The piping system cleaning method includes: a step of connecting, using temporary piping having a foreign matter collecting portion, the steam check valve and/or the turbine bypass valve, and a connecting portion provided between the turbine bypass valve in the bypass piping and the condenser; a step of closing a flow path on a valve outlet side; a step of supplying steam to the steam piping to clean the steam piping; and a step of feeding steam to the condenser via the temporary piping.
