The invention relates to a method for implementing relay protection examination under a normal operating condition. A relay protection auxiliary decision system and a short-time transmission function of relay protection are combined to implement relay protection examination under the normal operating condition. Relay protection operation data is collected in the relay protection auxiliary decision system, collected secondary equipment redundancy measuring information in the system is utilized, and sampling, input and output loops of relay protection are examined via data comparison and analysis on recording data. Self-check alarm information of relay protection components collected in the system is also used to examine a relay protection body. According to examination results, maintenance decisions are made, and maintenance contents are prompted. Maintenance prompt is provided for a relay protection output loop which cannot be detected in the auxiliary decision system when the regular examination time is overdue. The short-time transmission technology of relay protection can be used to examine the relay protection output loop.
