The present invention relates to applications of isocyanuric acid in prevention and control of corn top rot. According to the present invention, isocyanuric acid comprises chlorinated isocyanuric acid and chlorobromoisocyanuric acid, the chlorinated isocyanuric acid is dichloroisocyanuric acid, trichloroisocyanuric acid, potassium salts and sodium salts thereof, and the like; the isocyanuric acid can provide strong resistance induction activity for crops, such that corn top rot can be prevented and controlled by inducing the base resistance; the foliar spraying of 50-2000 ppm isocyanuric acid is separately performed, or is combined with the soluble fertilizer containing plant nutrition, or is combined with pesticides so as to provide the significant corn top rot prevention and control effects.
