本发明提供一种播放方法及终端。所述播放方法，应用于终端，包括：在所述终端通过播放设备输出音频信号时，判断所述播放设备是否处于正常的工作状态；如果所述播放设备处于正常的工作状态，则通过所述播放设备输出所述音频信号；如果所述播放设备处于非正常的工作状态，则停止通过所述播放设备输出音频信号和/或发出提示信号。本发明能够解决用户在采用与终端连接的播放设备进行音频外放时，如果播放设备出现故障，则会出现用户听不到电话或短信的提示音的问题。

The invention discloses a playing method and a terminal. The playing method is applied in the terminal, and comprises the steps of when the terminal outputs sound signals by a playing device, determining whether or not the playing device is in normal working state; if the playing device is in normal working state, outputting the sound signals by the playing device; if the playing device is in abnormal working state, stopping outputting sound signals and sending prompt signals by the playing device. The playing method can solve the problem that the user cannot hear the warning tone of the telephone or SMS when the playing device is out of order and when playing device is connected with the terminal for audio play.
