The invention discloses a power distribution EPON communication networking system for a spider web similar model. The system comprises two optical line terminals located in the same substation, an optical distribution network and a plurality of optical network units. The optical distribution network is composed of a plurality of backbone longitude optical cables extending to the periphery, a plurality of one-to-two optical splitters, and a plurality of sections of annular latitude branch optical cables connected with different areas, thereby forming a spider web similar network structure. According to the optical line terminals, the optical network units on the latitude optical cables are connected in series through utilization of two adjacent longitude optical cables, thereby forming a hand-in-hand network. When access is carried out, each optical line terminal selects an optical core from adjacent backbone longitude optical cables and sends two ways of optical signals to two ends of the same latitude branch optical cable; and the optical network units on the latitude branch optical cables are respectively connected with the two optical line terminals through a pair of optical splitters, thereby forming a hand-in-hand structure and realizing bidirectional transmission of the data. The system is simple in mechanism and flexible in networking, and optical cable resources are saved.
