A novel LNG fuel tank cold box comprises a box body of the fuel tank cold box; a fuel tank body is arranged inside the box body; a sealing door is arranged on one side of the box body; an air inlet is formed in the other side of the box body; an exhaust pipe is arranged at the upper end of the box body and provided with an exhaust fan; the upper end of the exhaust fan is provided with a dangerous gas exhaust port; the exhaust pipe is further provided with an air damper; and a glass steel base plate is arranged at the lower end of the box body. Different from a prior LNG leakage-preventing protection device, the novel LNG fuel tank cold box is adopted for comprehensive and totally-closed protection, and has the characteristics of being complete in protection, safe and reliable.
