The invention relates to the field of machinery, in particular to durable nail clippers with four-lug contact prevention and meshing injury prevention functions. The nail clippers are longer in service life. In order to achieve the aim, the nail clippers mainly comprise the structural parts including a nail clippers body (1), an upper cutting edge (2), a lower cutting edge (3), an upper left anti-meshing lug (4), an upper right anti-meshing lug (5), a lower left anti-meshing lug (6) and a lower right anti-meshing lug (7). The upper left anti-meshing lug (4), the upper right anti-meshing lug (5), the lower left anti-meshing lug (6) and the lower right anti-meshing lug (7) are of a structure which common nail clippers do not have. The purpose of adding the four components is to form butting structures by matching the four components in pairs so that the upper cutting edge (2) and the lower cutting edge (3) can be prevented from accidentally making contact with each other after cut off nails, and accordingly the service life of the upper cutting edge (2) and the lower cutting edge (3) is prolonged. The nail clippers have the advantage of being longer in service life.
