The invention provides a diffractive optical element laser shaping effect verification method and system. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining phase data of a diffraction optical element; carrying out analog calculation on the phase data through multiple diffraction transfer functions to obtain a plurality of light wave complex amplitude values on an output surface of the diffraction optical element; and carrying out consistency check on the plurality of light wave complex amplitude values, and judging accuracy of the shaping effect of the diffractive optical element according to the check result. The method and system realize fast and accurate verification of the shaping effect of the diffractive optical element through a simple mode and without any optical component, and consume less time and save human and time cost.
