The invention discloses a mechanism for simulating contact between a gas tank aeroelastic model piston and a tank body. The mechanism comprises a gas tank internally provided with a piston assembly. A guide rod is arranged vertically between the gas tank and the piston assembly. A floating guide element is arranged on the piston assembly. The floating guide element moves along the guide rod when the piston assembly rises and falls in the gas tank. By adoption of the mechanism for simulating contact between the gas tank aeroelastic model piston and the tank body, the remarkable effects that a traditional direct connecting mode for the piston assembly and the gas tank is avoided, the piston assembly is suspended in the gas tank, the piston moves along the guide rod through the floating guide element, rising and falling of the piston under true situations can be precisely simulated, and the accuracy of experiments is guaranteed are achieved.
