A stop valve comprises a valve body, a permanent magnet operation mechanism, a valve rod, a first force transmission structure arranged on the valve rod and an elastic device. The permanent magnet operation mechanism comprises a shell installed on the valve body, a coil, a permanent magnet and a movable iron core, wherein the coil and the permanent magnet are installed in the shell, and the movable iron core is movably installed in the coil and the permanent magnet in a sleeved mode. The valve rod comprises the first end stretching into the valve body and the second end stretching out of the valve body and then penetrating through the movable iron core. The elastic device enables the valve rod and the movable iron core to be connected and is used for blocking moving of the movable iron core toward the direction of the second end, storing energy, applying action force to the valve rod to enable the valve rod to move toward the direction far from the valve body in the process of blocking moving of the movable iron core toward the direction of the second end and applying action force to the movable iron core to generate the initial speed of moving of the movable iron core toward the direction of the first force transmission structure after storing the energy; the movable iron core can move back and forth along the valve rod; and when abutting against the first force transmission structure, the movable iron core applies the action force which pushes the valve rod to move toward the direction of the valve body. The stop valve can maintain the working state without the need of being charged, fast in action response and simple in structure.
