The effective component of the raccoon dog distemper freeze-dried live vaccine is a raccoon dog distemper virus attenuated vaccine strain. The attenuated vaccine strain is a dog distemper attenuated vaccine strain which is obtained through acclimatization on a dog distemper vaccine strain CDV-O2, and is safe to a raccoon dog, good in immunogenicity and stable in titer, the attenuated vaccine strain is named as CDV-OR12 strain, and the microbial preservation number of the attenuated vaccine strain is CGMCC NO. 13793. Experiments verify that the vaccine can effectively prevent the raccoon dog from being attacked by dog distemper virus virulent viruses, the protection rate is more than 90 percent, raccoon dog distemper can be effectively prevented, and the immunity period is 6 months. A new technical way for preventing and controlling raccoon dog distemper is provided.
