A closed compressor (10A) is provided with a compressor body (100) and a closed container (200) which accommodates the compressor body (100) and which contains oil. The compressor body (100) has an electric drive element (110) and a compression element (120) which is driven by the electric drive element (110). The compression element (120) has a cylinder block (122) in which a cylinder section is formed, a piston (123) which reciprocates within the cylinder section, and a crankshaft (124) which operates the piston (123). The cylinder block (122) constitutes a bearing section (125) which rotatably supports the crankshaft (124). The cylinder section forms a compression chamber (126). The compressor body (100) has a support section (300) on which a curved surface (301) is formed. A contact section is formed where the curved surface (301) and a receiving surface within the closed container (200) are in contact with each other.
