The invention discloses a power distribution network fault positioning system and method for performing analysis in combination with circuit overload data. By fusing circuit load information, fault positioning becomes more accurate; a circuit overload data analysis method is adopted to perform early warning and analysis on a distribution transformation overload phenomenon; according to circuit, switch and transformer equipment and by combination with a power grid real-time operating mode, abnormal data searching efficiency and data transmission security of power supply equipment can be improved through measurement of power utilization information collection system when necessary; an advanced sensing technology is adopted to improve the perceptible level of the equipment; and the equipment state is automatically analyzed through an intelligent assembly, so that operating conditions of power distribution circuits in all or a part of important districts can be mastered.
