The invention provides a storage and fresh-keeping method of chaenomeles speciosa. The storage and fresh-keeping method comprises the following steps of sorting chaenomeles speciosa at the middle ten-day period and the last ten-day period of July; self making a plastic tent, spreading plastic films on the ground, piling chaenomeles speciosa loading plastic boxes, enabling the plastic tent to be buckled in a reversed manner, and performing rolling pressing sealing with the ground films; putting the chaenomeles speciosa in the plastic boxes, and performing normal-temperature sealed fumigating with 1-MCP (1- methylcyclopropene) gas for 4-8 hours; and after fumigating is completed, switching to normal low-temperature storage without ventilation. According to the storage and fresh-keeping method disclosed by the invention, 1-MCP tablets or powder is used for sealed fumigating, medicaments are separately put in several culture dishes, the culture dishes are placed at different positions of the plastic tent, an appropriate amount of water is added for wetting, and the 1-MCP gas can be released for fumigating, wherein the appropriate fumigating temperature is 16-24 DEG C, and when the temperature is lower than 15 DEG C, the fumigating time can be prolonged; and conditions for the normal low-temperature storage include that the temperature is maintained to be 2-4 DEG C, the relative humidity is maintained to be 90-95%,O<2> is maintained to be 7-9%,and CO<2> is maintained to be 2-4%.
