The invention discloses an efficient catalytic converter and application thereof. By arranging a spoiler which enables rotational flow to be generated by fluid in a flowing passage of a catalytic converter in the flowing passage of the catalytic converter, the contact probability with a reactant and the catalytic efficiency of a catalyst are increased, more ideal catalytic effect can be obtained under the conditions of relatively smaller specific surface area or relatively larger sectional area of a single flowing passage, and the material dosage and the running resistance of the catalyst in the catalytic converter are reduced; during multi-phase catalytic application, the catalyst is precipitated on a catalyst carrier by adopting a composite plating method, and the better catalyst adhesion effect is obtained; through the scheme, the efficient catalytic converter can be widely applied to the fields of catalysis of tail gas of an internal combustion engine and flue gas of a boiler and a kiln, homogeneous-phase catalysis, enzyme catalysis and sewage bio-enzyme catalysis; during flue gas treatment, a passage for flue gas treatment is set to be a round tubular passage, and a dead angle of airflow can be eliminated, so that the utilization rate of the catalyst in the catalytic converter is increased.
