The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technology for improving the flexibility of an electric wire comprising a metallic conductor and an insulating member that covers the periphery of the conductor. The electric wire comprises a flexible metallic conductor part and an insulating member that covers the periphery of the conductor part. The inner side surface of the insulating member and the outer side surface of the conductor part are provided so as to be separable from each other. In the electric wire, it is possible, for example, that a space is provided between the inner side surface of the insulating member and the outer side surface of the conductor part in part of the electric wire.
