The invention provides cooling equipment for a box-type substation and a box-type substation. The cooling equipment comprises radiators and fans; the radiators and the fans are arranged on door bodies of the box-type substation; the radiators are filled with a refrigerant; heat in the box-type substation is absorbed by the refrigerant in the portions, inside the door bodies, of the radiators, a liquid state of the refrigerant is transformed into a gas state, the refrigerant in the gas state is transferred into the portions, outside the door bodies, of the radiators, the refrigerant in the gas state releases heat into the air outside the box-type substation, the gas state of the refrigerant is transformed into the liquid state, and the refrigerant in the liquid state flows back to the portions, inside the door bodies, of the radiators; the fans are used for circulating the air in the box-type substation, so that the cooled air is transported to the other positions of the box-type substation. By means of the cooling equipment, the cooling effect and the protection grade of the cooling equipment of the box-type substation are improved.
