A numerical control device (1) that moves a cutting tool and an object to be machined relative to each other and performs thread cutting on the object to be machined, said numerical control device (1) being provided with: a drive unit (10) for controlling a spindle that causes the object to be machined to rotate, a first drive shaft that feeds and moves the cutting tool relative to the object to be machined along a direction that is perpendicular to the lead direction of a thread formed by cutting, and a second drive shaft that feeds and moves the cutting tool relative to the object to be machined along the lead direction; vibration means (482, 483) for superimposing vibration that is reciprocating feeding movement on the movement of the first drive shaft; and a thread cutting completion vibration adjustment unit (484) that causes the drive unit to stop the vibration and continues thread cutting before a remaining lead-direction distance becomes zero, said distance being the movement amount until the second drive shaft reaches the thread cutting end position.
