The invention discloses a voltage control method and apparatus for a distributed photovoltaic distribution network. Step-by-step control strategies from the bottom up are adopted; when a feeder line voltage is boosted to reach a warning vale and not exceed an upper limit value, a local controller performs local control on the reactive feeder line voltage of a photovoltaic inverter firstly; when the reactive capacity of the current region is depleted while the feeder line voltage still reaches the upper limit value, a regional controller is adopted to perform coordinative control of the reactive feeder line voltage; when the reactive capacity along the line is all depleted while the feeder line voltage still reaches the upper limit value, a power station controller performs control of an on-load voltage-regulating transformer; and when a transformer tap reaches an action limit while the feeder line voltage exceeds the upper limit value, the photovoltaic inverter is subjected to active cut-down control until the feeder line voltage does not exceed the upper limit value. By making full utilization of whole network equipment and the reactive capacity of the photovoltaic inverter along the line, the problem that the feeder line voltage exceeds the upper limit value can be effectively relieved or even solved, so that economic benefits of a user is ensured.
