The control system comprises a switching input acquisition unit for acquiring the switching signal, and a first signal conversion unit connected with the switching input acquisition unit, used for converting the switching signal to the optical signal, and connected with at least one second signal conversion unit for converting the optical signal to the switching signal via a fiber cable, and controls the corresponding switch according to the switching signal acquired by the second signal conversion unit. The switch control system solves the problem that the switch cannot be reliably and remotely controlled via a cable due to the long cable and the bad environment. The switching amount is converted into the optical signal, and the optical signal is remotely transmitted via the fiber cable, so that the reliability of the switching amount long-distance transmission is improved, the reliability of the switch long-distance closing/opening operation can be improved, and meanwhile, the risks of lightning and electromagnetic interference during the switching transmission can be eliminated.
