The apparatus includes a UWB positioning unit and a partial discharging unit, the UWB positioning unit includes a plurality of UWB positioning devices, a matching support, and an industrial mobile phone, the plurality of UWB positioning devices are arranged on the matching support or the measured position of each surface of the transformer to acquire the coordinate of the measured position of each surface of the transformer, each UWB positioning device is in data transmission with the industrial mobile phone via wireless communication, the partial discharging unit includes a plurality of partial discharging detection sensors, a router, a server, and a synchronizer, the plurality of partial discharging detection sensors are used to detect the partial discharging condition of the measured position of each surface of the transformer, the partial discharging detection sensors transmit the detection data to the server via the synchronizer, and the server is in data transmission with the industrial mobile phone via the router. The transformer partial discharging intelligent detection apparatus and method realize the intelligent partial discharging detection of the transformer and improve the detection efficiency.
