The invention discloses a method for evaluating a weak link of the load transfer capacity of a distribution network. The load transfer capacity of a distribution substation after full shutdown is evaluated and an evaluation method with different stages is established. At the first stage, a single-path feeder line of a transformer substation is selected, a maximum restored load capacity is calculated on the safety operation constraint condition, a weak link of the single-path feeder line is found out, processing is carried out on the weak link and then a transfer result is used as an initial value of a second stage, a load transfer capacity of each power supply plan is calculated, a maximum load transfer capacity plan is selected, and thus a multi-path feeder line weak link is found out. Therefore, a problem of the cross influence of the load transfer capacities of multiple feeder lines after full shutdown can be solved; the weak link of the distribution network can be quantized precisely; and the quantization basis can be provided for distribution network modification.
