The invention relates to a method for reducing the harmonic energy error measurement time, and measurement and verification systems. The method includes defining the theoretical pulse time interval for measuring the harmonic energy error; setting the variable harmonic pulse constants according to the different harmonic powers of the measurement point, wherein the variable harmonic pulse constants are corresponding to the different harmonic powers one by one; obtaining the actual pulse time interval by means of the variable harmonic pulse constants based on the principle of energy metering; and achieving the aim of reducing the harmonic energy error measurement time by using the actual pulse time interval to perform harmonic energy error measurement.
