The invention provides a fabrication method of a supercapacitor electrode. The fabrication method comprises the steps of synthesizing iron oxide, taking a synthesized Alpha-FeOOH and Alpha-Fe2O3 nanometer material as an electrode active substance, selecting a conductive agent and a binding agent to obtain a suspension liquid, coating the suspension liquid on a foamed nickel electrode which is cleaned in advance, removing a solvent and moisture, and compacting so that powder and the foamed nickel electrode are in close contact to form the supercapacitor electrode. According to the fabrication method of the supercapacitor electrode, provided by the invention, the fabricated supercapacitor electrode has relatively high crystallization degree and has excellent crystallinity and arrangement regularity of crystal structures, and a test shows that the supercapacitor electrode has good conductivity.
