The invention provides a CNG transport ship. The CNG transport ship comprises a main ship body and a fire fighting system, wherein the main ship body comprises a cargo hold, and a main deck is arranged on the cargo hold; and the fire fighting system comprises a water fire extinguishing unit, a dry powder fire extinguishing unit and a water spraying unit, and the water fire extinguishing unit, the dry powder fire extinguishing unit and the water spraying unit are all arranged on the main deck of the cargo hold and comprehensively cover the area, prone to CNG leakage, in the cargo hold. By arranging the fire fighting system in the CNG transport ship, the fire extinguishing and explosion preventing functions of the ship body can be perfected, the CNG transport ship can restrain fires caused after gas leakage, and thus the blank of a fire fighting system of the CNG transport ship in the prior art is filled.
