The sensor adjustment apparatus comprises a sensor state and failure analysis module and a sensor sensitivity adjustment and verification module, wherein the sensor state and failure analysis module comprises a magnetic field saturation analysis module, a magnetic field variation curve fitting module and a sensor failure detection module, the magnetic field saturation analysis module receives the magnetic field signal of a sensor and compares the magnetic field signal to a positive saturation magnetic field strength and a reverse saturation magnetic field strength, the magnetic field variation curve fitting module adjusts the power supply of the sensor according to the comparison result and draws the fitting curve of the magnetic field signal during the adjustment process, the sensor failure detection module compares the fitted curve to the standard curve of sensor work to determine whether the sensor fails, and the sensor sensitivity adjustment and verification module adjusts the sensitivity of the sensor. With the method and the apparatus of the present invention, whether the detected sensor normally works can be judged in the case of off-line detection.
