The hard disk also comprises an early warning mechanism and a controller. The controller controls the early warning mechanism according to a reading and writing state of the hard disk body and operation time. When data written by the hard disk body is greater than or equal to a preset storage amount, or when the operation time of the hard disk body is greater than or equal to preset operation time, the controller makes the early warning mechanism give an alarm. In the invention, according to the reading and writing state of the hard disk, the early warning mechanism is controlled; and when the data written by the hard disk body is greater than or equal to the preset storage amount, or when the operation time of the hard disk body is greater than or equal to the preset operation time, the controller makes the early warning mechanism give the alarm. Therefore, a condition that subsequent reading data is lost because a user does not know that the hard disk is full is effectively avoided.
