The monitoring system comprises a central processor and a monitor. The monitor is used for monitoring a storage battery group and a charger in real time. The central processor is used for receiving and analyzing monitored data of the monitor. The PC is connected to the central processor and issues a control instruction to the central processor. The system has advantages that the monitor monitors the storage battery group and the charger in real time and the central processor receives and analyzes the monitored data so that the direct current system can be monitored for 24 hours and the monitored data is compared and analyzed; once there is a hidden trouble which may cause an accident, according to a consequence of the accident which may be generated, an early warning grade is automatically analyzed and early warning is performed; and according to the determined early warning grade and prompt information, operation-maintenance personnel is notified, and the operation-maintenance personnel can carry out rapid pertinence processing on a problem according to the prompt information.
