The material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20 to 30 parts of carbon monoxide, 25 to 35 parts of oxygen, 15 to 28 parts of methanol, 10 to 20 parts of phenol, 20 to 35 parts of bisphenol A, 0.2 to 0.5 part of catalyst, 2 to 5 parts of mosquito repellent and 1 to 8 parts of inflaming retardant. According to the material for making the LED lampshade, which is provided by the invention, as the carbon monoxide, the oxygen and the methanol are adopted as the raw materials to carry out a reaction to generate dimethyl carbonate, an environment cannot be polluted as toxic and harmful substances are generated in a production process; meanwhile, the injury to the body of a front-line worker also cannot be generated; the mosquito repellent and the inflaming retardant are added into the raw materials, so that mosquito repelling and inflaming retarding effects can be achieved.
