The invention provides a method for wheel balance correction. The method comprises the steps that grammage of wheel balance out-of-tolerance is determined firstly; whether repair can be conducted or not is determined according to the size of a wheel hub and the out-of-tolerance grammage; next, a marking pen is used to mark the position of a balance low point on an outer rim; then, the position of balance correction and machining parameters are determined; and finally, the corrected wheel hub is subjected to rechecking of balance, the size and appearance, and the wheel hub which is qualified after rechecking is transferred to the next working procedure. By means of the correction method, a balance out-of-tolerance unqualified product can be made into a qualified product. In the process of the method, the steps are simple, and high practicability is achieved.
