The invention discloses a combination part of stainless steel and plastic and a machining method for the combination part. The combination part of the stainless steel and the plastic comprises a stainless steel base material; honeycomb-shaped fine holes are formed in the surface of the stainless steel base material; after high-temperature oxidation treatment at the temperature of 110-450 DEG C for the time 120-10 minutes, an oxidation film is formed on the surfaces of the honeycomb-shaped fine holes; the oxidation film comprises at least two kinds of iron oxide, chromium oxide and nickel oxide; and a plastic material is formed on the stainless steel base material in an injection molding mode and is embedded into the honeycomb-shaped fine holes. The combination part of the stainless steel and the plastic and the machining method for the combination part have the technical effects that the oxidation film has the good heat insulation effect, and the combination acting force between the stainless steel base material and the plastic material is improved.
