The invention discloses a method for preparing a membrane support by using waste filaments in the production process of polyester filaments. The method comprises the following process steps: a) bundling unoriented waste filaments produced on a spinning workstation and oriented waste filaments produced after drafting into barrels by using a silk guiding device respectively; b) cutting the unoriented waste filaments and the oriented waste filaments respectively; c) netting the unoriented waste filaments and the oriented waste filaments with certain lengths by using a wet netting system; d) drying, and forming by hot rolling and calendering; e) winding to obtain cloth. By the method, the waste filaments produced in the production process of the polyester filaments are effectively recycled and reused and the waste polyester filament recycling and utilizing space is expanded, so that the production cost is reduced and the competitiveness of a product is improved.
