The application discloses two kinds of optical modules, which relate to the field of optical fiber communication. One optical module comprises an upper shell, a lower shell and vertical elastic bars. The vertical elastic bars are distributed at the outer wall of the side surface of the upper shell and/or the inner wall of the side surface of the lower shell. In addition, the other optical module consists of an upper shell, a lower shell, metallic rib bodies and an elastic conductor; the metallic rib bodies are distributed at the side walls of the upper shell and the lower shell in a staggered manner; and the elastic conductor is arranged between the side walls of the upper shell and the lower shell in an interference filling manner. On the basis of the vertical elastic bars or combination of the metallic rib bodies and the elastic conductor, the gap formed between the side walls of the upper shell and the lower shell is divided into independent sub gaps. Because of the small sub gaps, electromagnetic waves generated by a circuit board can not be transmitted to the outside of the housing easily through the sub gaps, so that the the electromagnetic shielding structure formed by the upper shell and the lower can shield the electromagnetic waves. When the optical modules are in use, no obvious electromagnetic leakage is caused and the electromagnetic compatibility of the optical module can be significantly improved.
