The invention relates to an environment-friendly preparation method for 4-(acetylamino)benzenesulfonyl chloride. The method comprises the following steps: (a) carrying out a chlorosulfonation reaction on excessive chlorosulfonic acid and N-phenylacetamide in a first vessel, so as to prepare a first mixture; (b) adding the first mixture into a second vessel containing water, controlling the internal temperature of the second vessel to 15 DEG C to 20 DEG C, and carrying out mixing, so as to obtain a second mixture, wherein the mass ratio of the water to N-phenylacetamide is (1 to 5): 6; and (c) adding the second mixture into a third vessel containing water, controlling the temperature of the third vessel to 2 DEG C to 10 DEG C so as to separate out 4-(acetylamino)benzenesulfonyl chloride, carrying out filtering, and then, carrying out washing repeatedly, thereby obtaining the 4-(acetylamino)benzenesulfonyl chloride, wherein the mass ratio of the water to N-phenylacetamide is (5 to 15): 1. According to the method, the discharging of wastewater can be reduced, the quality is stable, no off odor is generated, and the yield can be increased.
