The invention provides a medicine for treating fatty liver. The medicine consists of the following ingredients in parts by weight: 9 parts of honeysuckle flowers, 6 parts of radix rehmanniae, 6 parts of bulbus fritillariae cirrhosae, 3 parts of herba menthae, 1 part of cortex moutan, 1 part of kendir leaves, 0.5 part of semen cassiae occidentalis and 0.5 part of folium nelumbinis. On the basis, the medicine is further added with 2 parts by weight of Pu'er tea, 2 parts by weight of semen phaseoli or 1 part by weight of radix dipsaci. The medicine prescription provided by the invention is obtained on the basis of reasonable design of the traditional Chinese medicinal ingredients; the medicine, on treating the fatty liver, is obvious in curative effect and relatively rapid to take effects; and both effective rate and cure rate are higher than that of the prior art.
