The invention discloses a control method and device for electric heating equipment. The control method comprises the following steps of acquiring a first temperature value indicated by an operational order while receiving the operational order of a user, wherein the operational order is used for indicating the electric heating equipment to operate according to a first temperature value; judging whether the first temperature value is smaller than a preset temperature threshold value of the electric heating equipment; and controlling the electric heating equipment to operate according to the preset temperature threshold value if the first temperature value is determined to be greater than or equal to the preset temperature threshold value. The control method solves the technical problem that safety of the electric heating equipment in the prior art is relatively low.
