The invention relates to a construction method of a roadbed widening structure. The method mainly comprises the following steps of: excavation and trimming of an original roadbed; construction of a solidified soil layer; construction of the solidified soil layer; construction of a prefabricated assembled lateral plate; construction of a cast-in-place concrete bottom plate; construction of a bubble concrete backfill layer; construction of a dang residue backfill layer; and construction of pavements and auxiliary facilities. The method provided by the invention not only improves the fixing effect and joining conforming strength between a novel roadbed and an original roadbed, but also enhances the strength of the novel roadbed and the stability of a slope of the roadbed.
