The invention discloses a method for increasing the milk yield of female parent sheep. The method comprises the following steps: selecting test animals, performing hybridization, measuring body weight, measuring milk yield, and measuring expression quantity of mRNA of a breast tissue receptor gene. According to the test method provided by the invention, male East Friesen sheep and female Hu sheep are hybridized to produce high-milk-yield East Friesen-Hu F1 to serve as three-way hybridized female parent sheep, so the problems that the lactation yield of the female parent sheep is insufficient, lambs grow slowly and the cultivation benefit of mutton sheep is low are solved fundamentally. Results prove that the hybrid first-generation female sheep is the ideal female parent sheep, and three lambs can be fed after the hybrid first-generation female sheep and Dorper sheep are hybridized, so the cultivation benefit is increased by 30 percent or more.
