The invention discloses a compression joint pipe judging method and system based on an infrared temperature measurement result. The method comprises the following steps: regularly measuring temperature at different positions on a strain clamp by an infrared thermometer, and collecting the temperature measurement data; according to the temperature measurement result, drawing a temperature rise curve of different positions on the strain clamp; determining whether the heat of the compression joint pipe is higher than temperature of a conductor part according to the temperature rise curve; if yes, indicating that the compression joint pipe has a defect; otherwise, indicating that the compression joint pipe is normal. The method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of easy operation, safe and reliable test and relatively high detection accuracy and is suitable for close-range measurement; and with a small data extraction quantity, the method can realize offline analysis and is a relatively direct judging method for internal defect heating of the compression joint pipe.
