The objective of the present invention is to provide: a flame-retardant polypropylene resin composition that exhibits extremely high flame retardancy due to having both self-extinguishing properties and drip resistance, and is imparted with mechanical properties (rigidity, impact), weather resistance, and moldability; and a molded article using said composition. The present invention relates to: a polypropylene resin composition that contains, within specified amount ranges, a specified polypropylene resin (A) containing a polypropylene resin (X) having a specified long-chain branched structure, contains a specified fiber (B), and contains an organic flame retardant (C); and a molded article formed by molding said composition.
